Reba Taylor
HAVERHILL ? Reba (Cogswell) Taylor, 93, of 150 Water St., Haverhill, formerly of Kenoza Street, died Saturday afternoon at Penacook Place in Haverhill. She was the wife of the late E. Fernald Taylor.
Born in Richmond, Virginia, January 31, 1910, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Bassett) Cogswell and was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1929, then went on to attend Burdett Business College in Boston.
Mrs. Taylor had worked in the office at Atherton furniture Store and had also worked 18 years at Western Electric. She was a member of the Haverhill Garden Club and had volunteered with the Blind Guild of Haverhill.
She is survived by her two sons, David A. Taylor of Kingston, N.H., and Norman P. Taylor West Newbury; three granddaughters, Beth Taylor of Newton, N.H., Tracy Taylor of Kingston, N.H., and Keely Raber of Seattle, as well as one great-granddaughter, Emily Raber.
Funeral services and interment are private for the family. At the request of the family, there will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Penacook Place Resident Fund, 150 Water St., Haverhill, MA 01830. Arrangements are by Paul C. Rogers & Sons, 334 Main Street, Haverhill.
