Harriett Bass

Harriet Bass, 93, a native of Lakeland FL and resident of Houma, LA died Thursday morning, September 15, 2016 at 12:50AM. Private services will be held by the family at a later date.
She is survived by her two sons, William T. Bass Jr. and wife Pat of Cincinnati OH, and Robert Bass and wife June of Houma, LA; six grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in life by her husband William T. Bass Sr., her parents Roy and Harriett Roddy and sister Margaret Hammic.
Harriet enjoyed the arts and could often be found working on her arts and crafts. She especially enjoyed making quilts and passing them on to her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her; but never forgotten.
