Warren "Cap" Tell, November 2006
Warren "Cap" Tell, 67, of Fergus Falls, passed away Saturday, Novemb
2006, at his home from complications of multiple myeloma. Warren was bo
April 14, 1939, in Roberts, WI, the son of Norman J. & Fritzi (Bassett) Tell.
He grew up in Brainerd where he graduated from high school & also attended one
year at the Brainerd Junior College. He was an honor student, was on the
school newspaper & played in the band. He was also in the Demolay. On
September 19, 1965, he married Patricia Lea in the First Congregational Church
of Brainerd. He owned & operated the Upholstery Place in Fergus Falls for 20
years & was proud of his craftsmanship. He was also a sales representative for
Charolotte Fabris. His passion was golf, but he also loved deer & duck
hunting, bowling for the Eagle's Beagles, doing crossword puzzles & the
Vikings. Warren is survived by his wife, Patricia; their children: Lynn (Todd)
Assmann of Maui, HI, Stacy Holley (Todd Weaver) of Pine River, MN & Zachary
(Stef) of Fergus Falls; 6 grandchildren; brothers, James (Ann) of Orelia, IA &
Wilbern of Minneapolis; sister, Paula of Boliver, MI; step-brother, Michael
(Connie) Kelley of Minneapolis; step-sister, Kathy Anderson of Brainerd;
special friend, Bill Dumke & numerous nieces & nephews. He was preceded in
death by his parents & baby brother, Kevin Joel. Funeral service was he
Friday, November 10, 2006, at Glende-Nilson Funeral Home in Fergus Fall
