  Notes	Alberta A. Bassett, Obituary St. Clair - Albert Arnold Bassett, 98, of St. Clair, a former resident of Marine City, died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 1997. She was born in Lakeport on May 15, 1899, the daughter of Hugh and Eve (Burtch) Streeter. She married George Bassett on Aug. 9, 1967 in Clay Twp. He preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Richard (Dora) Swiney of Hope Sound, Fla.; two daughters, Laurraine (Martin) Dewey of East China and Jean Eaves of New Port Richey, Fl.; her step-daughter, Rosemarie Lozon of Algonac; her sister, Hazel Davidson of Braden?, Fla.; four grandchildrdn; 14 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildrdn. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Saturday in the Bower-Rose Funeral home, Marine City with Pastor William Blount officiating. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery, East China. Visiting hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
