She was not afraid of hard work. She was a woman with many talents and abilities, which she shared with her family, friends and the community. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Throughout her life she held many callings in the church.

Leah enjoyed quilting, hand-painting quilts, canning, baking, flowers, reading, putting puzzles together and spoiling her grandchildren with love. She will be remembered for the beautiful quilts she shared with so many and her great sense of humor.

Survivors include four of her five children: Clark (Carole) Bassett of Lovell, son-in-law Bob Lynn of Denver, Sharleen Benson of Gillette, Enid (Gary) Littlefield of Lovell and Craig (Penny) Bassett of Flowery Branch, Ga.; 27 grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren; four brothers; Vernal, Grant, Bruce and Gary, and three sisters, Donna Lee Cook, Joan Cannon and Gay Child.
