  Notes	The Star Press, Muncie, Indiana, Tuesday, August 28, 1945 Teacher?s Father Dies in Jonesboro Burt McKeever, 61, died at 4 o?clock Saturday afternoon at his home in Jonesboro. He was the father of Harold McKeever, teacher at Blaine Junior High School. His death followed a heart illness of six years. Mr. McKeever won national recognition in 1944 for his completion of over three hundred sweaters for the Red Cross. He received his recognition over a national radio program. He had been an employe of the Owens-Illinois glass factory at Jonesboro for more than twenty-three years. Surviving beside the son are the widow; three daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Pearson and Mrs. Charles R. Burch of Jonesboro, and Mrs. Harry Kotecki, of Mobile, Ala. The body was removed to the Jay mortuary in Jonesboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o?clock this afternoon at the Friends Church in Jonesboro.
