In Memory of Constance R. Verreault
October 20, 1942 ? September 21, 2014
Auburn-Constance "Connie" R. Verreault 71, of West Waterman Rd. Auburn, died Sunday, September 21, at The Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice with her loving family at her side. She was born in Lewiston on October 20, 1942 a daughter of the late Elforest and Fredalena (Gagnon) Bassett. She was educated in Auburn and graduated from Edward Little High School class of 1961. She later in life went on to graduate from Husson College in 1995. Connie married her true love Thomas Verreault Sr. on May 28, 1966 and together they raised their three children. After raising her family she worked for the IRS as a Revenue Agent. She was a member of St. Philips Church and the Oasis Ladies Group associated with the Lewiston Bretheran Church. Connie was an avid quilter, she enjoyed photography, cooking and being with her six grandchildren. Her family was everything to her. She will be missed for her BBQ sauce, her Pineapple Cream Cake and silk flower arrangements. She leaves her husband of 48 years, (Ret) SMSGT Thomas Verreault Sr. USAF of Auburn, her three children Thomas Verreault Jr. and his wife Elenice Rabelo of Boston, MA, Jennifer H. Verreault (SPEC) US Army Reserves of Auburn, and Captain Timothy G. Verreault US Army and wife Jessica of Fort Drum, NY two sisters Catherine Roy of Little Falls, NY and Jean Rouillard and husband Richard of Auburn, her six grandchildren: SGT Diego Rabelo US Army, (E-2) Samantha Leeman US Navy, Sarah Leeman, Rachel Verreault, Rabecca Verreault, and Helena Verreault, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her birth parents Lionel and Helen Gaudette. Visitation Fortin Auburn Friday 4-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday 10 Am at St. Philips Church. A luncheon will follow at the church and committal will be held at 1 PM at St. Peter's Cemetery.
