Richard Warren Bass, 61, died May 7, 2020.
Richard was the son of the late Elizabeth Spainhour Bass and James Milton Bass. He was a 1977 graduate of East Forsyth High School. He was the first of 25 cousins, and the first of his siblings to transition.
His main hobby and love was flying RC Airplanes, and was an experienced operator. He always liked hanging out with his buddies.
Survivors include his father, Milton Bass; sisters, Marilyn Swart, and Cindy Wilkes and Jerry all of Kernersville; brothers, David Bass of Kernersville, and Jimmy Bass and Vivian of Winston-Salem; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
A ?walk-through? visitation will be held 5:00PM until 6:30pm Tuesday May 12, 2020 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home in Kernersville. Social distancing will need to be respected at all times.
