Robert E. Aubin
AUBIN, ROBERT E. 72, of Rehoboth, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of Barbara C. (Cheval) Aubin and the son of the late Aldege and Delia (Bassett) Aubin. Bob had a career as a maitre'd at several Boston restaurants and was a real estate broker with the Aubin Corporation of Seekonk before he retired. He was an avid golfer and former member of Crestwood Country Club who also enjoyed traveling and working in his yard. Besides his wife, Barbara, he leaves two brothers, Lawrence A. Aubin of Rehoboth and J. Paul Aubin of El Paso, Texas, one sister, Marie Baumann of Brule, Wisconsin, two cousins, Jane Sweeney of Warwick and Anne Sweeney of New Jersey, and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 984 Taunton Avenue, Seekonk. Burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers and in recognition of the excellent care Bob received at Rhode Island Hospital, contributions in his memory may be made to the Lifespan Comprehensive Cancer Center and mailed to Development Office, P.O. Box H, Providence, RI 02901. Arrangements by the Perry-McStay Funeral Home.
