Barbara Ann (Winslow) MacNaughton
Barbara Ann Winslow MacNaughton, 80, of Centreville, VA, formerly of Syracuse, NY, Little York, NY, and New Kent, VA, died Friday, January 2, 2015 at Georgetown University Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, Roger, in 2006. They had been married 53 years. She was also predeceased by two granddaughters, Lindsay Wanish and Samantha Mehlbauer, both in 2007; six sisters and five brothers, as well as her parents, Robert and Helen Bassett Winslow. Mrs. Mac Naughton is survived by three daughters, Vicki (Charles) Yates of Centreville, VA, Sherri (Michael) Mahaney of Syracuse, NY, Brenda (Joseph) Mehlbauer of Wilsie, WV; two sons, Randall of Providence Forge, VA and R. Mark (Tanya) of Farmington, NY; eight grandchildren, Chad and Steven MacNaughton, Amy (Geoffrey) Beresford, Kara Forbes, Danielle and Kelsey MacNaughton, Heather (Tyler) Frederick, and Brandon Wanish; and six great-grandchildren, Natalyia Smith, Annabelle Barker, Makenna Smith, Gavyn MacNaughton, and Alizabeth and Natalee Frederick. She is also survived by four brothers, Ray (Dorothy) Winslow of Camillus, William (Sarah) Winslow of Syracuse, Harold "Sonny" Winslow of Clinton, and David (Cindy) Winslow of E. Syracuse; and three sisters, Marilyn (John) Schlicht of Syracuse, Carol (Michael) Kelly of Syracuse, and Diane Charima of Fayetteville; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service and celebration of life will take place in the Syracuse area. Complete details will be announced at a later date. Baker-Post Funeral Home of Manassas, VA is in charge of arrangements.
