Surviving are his wife, Fannie Pitts Bass; daughters, Sharon Roof of Rock Hill and Brenda Bass of Chester; a son, Bobby Bass Jr. of Chester; a guardian son, Lee watts of Columbia; brothers, Joseph Bass of Union and Wylie Bass Sr. of Carlisle; sisters, Lucille Nieweroski of Lowrys and Dolly Watts, all of Carlisle; and two grandchildren.
