Dallas D. Bass, 58
Bedford - Dallas D. Bass, owner and president of Adampac, died unexpectedly Friday at Ray Roberts Lake. He was 58.Memorial service will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Lucas Hurst Chapel.Mr. Bass was born in Dothan, Alabama, and had lived in Bedford for ten years. He was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon.Survivors: Wife, Ann Bass of Bedford; two sons, Mike Bass of Fort Worth and Timothy Bass of Dallas; three daughters, Deanna Bass of Marietta, Georgia, Cindy Bass of Atlanta, Georgia, and Amy Bass of Santa Monica, California; mother, Iris Owens of Florida; three sisters, Katie Bryan, Bob Smith, and Sue Green, all of Florida; and six grandchildren.

Dallas Dies In Chipley Home
CHIPLEY ? Feb. 12.-(Special) ? Dallas D. Bass, 56, retired prominent businessman and merchant here, died at his home early Sunday morning.
A native of Washington county, Mr. Bass was a member of the local Masonic lodge and the Baptist church. He was a member of the county school board from 1932 until 1949.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Iris Thurman Bass; four daughters, Mrs. J.D. Teal, Tallahassee, Mrs. Herman Smith, Chipley, Mrs. Richard Green, Qhincy, and Mrs. W.H. Bryan, Gainesville; two sons, James Green Bass and Dallas, Jr., both of Chipley; mother, Mrs. Mary Bass of St. Andrews; one brother, J.H. Bass, and a sister, Miss Bessie Bass, both of St. Andrews.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday from the Baptist church with Rev. T.O. Baldwin officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood cemetery here.
Honorary pallbearers will be businessmen and merchants of Chipley. Actives: Colley V. Williams, Otley Johnson, M.S. Huggins, Arthur McDaniel, O.L. Shipparo, E.D. Butler, J.B. Benson and Neli Blue. Blackburn Funeral home has charge of arrangements.
