  Notes	Oregonian, May 14, 1965 Obituary, Elizabeth Bassett Requiem Mass will be offered for Mrs. Elizabeth Bassett, 1834 SE Exeter Dr., Friday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Agatha Church. Mrs. Bassett died Tuesday at a Portland hospital. She was 59. She was born in Astoria Nov. 9, 1905, and came to Portland in 1929. She attended St. Mary’s Academy and was graduated from the University of Washington. She was active member of the Christie School and a member of the Seminary Tea Committee for the past 20 years. She is survive3d by the widower, Alton J. Bassett; two sons, William O. and John P. Bassett, Portland; two daughters, Mrs. Arthur J. Lewis, and Mrs. Ronald E. Daniels, Portland, and two sisters, Mrs. Marshall Leathers, Astoria, and Mrs. Frank J. Miller, Portland.
