Irven C. Morehouse
Irven C. Morehouse, age 98, of Whitehouse, OH, died April 29, 2004, at Whitehouse Country Manor. He was born August 16, 1905, in Custar, OH. Irven worked at Bock Laundry as a machinist welder for 20 years, retiring in 1968. He was an 80 year member of IOOF Lodge in Milton Center, OH, joining June 17, 1925. He was Past grand in 1951.
He married Marguerite (Bassett) November 28, 1928, in Findlay, OH. She preceded him in death November of 1967.
Survivors include sons, Cecil Morehouse and A. Keith Morehouse, both of Sumter, SC; daughters, Lotus Fritz of Bowling Green, OH, Martha Conner of Swanton, OH, and Judy Shoemaker of Marysville, WA; 18 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife; daughter, Donna Hart, great-granddaughter, Jacquelyn Fritz, and 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Friends and family may call Monday, May 3, 2004, at Peinert Funeral Home, Whitehouse, OH from 2-9 p.m. with IOOF services at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Tom Bates officiating. Interment will follow at Whitehouse Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Heartland Home Health Care and Hospice. The family would like to thank Whitestone Country Manor for their care and support.
