Timothy Elisha Bass, 71, of Spurger, passed away, Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Memorial Herman The Woodlands Hospital.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 2, 2019, from 10-11:00 at Lakeside Apostolic Church in Townbluff.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at 11:00 AM, at Lakeside Apostolic Church with burial to follow at Lakeside Cemetery in Townbluff. Officiating will be Pastor Harold Davies. Serving as pallbearers will be Gerald Rich, Jacob Messer, David Messer, Keith Bailey, Mandy Fletcher and Brandon Shird.
Timothy was born October 13, 1947 to Elisha Bass and Ellen Spears in Newton, Texas. He was a former resident of Lufkin and a longtime resident of Spurger. He worked as an independent contractor as a landscaper for many years and was a member of the Spurger Exxon/Mobil Coffee Club.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Elisha Bass and Ellen Spears, brother Rodger Bass and son Timothy Bass.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Ellen ?Lorena? Bass of Spurger; two stepsons; three daughters; one stepdaughter; two brothers and two sisters. He is also survived by a host of other family and friends.

Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Woodville, Texas.
