Tina B. McKinney
Candler - Tina Joyce Bassett McKinney, 49, of 21 Mobile Lane, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Duke University Hospital.
A native and resident most of life of Buncombe County, she had resided in Shelby from 2003 to 2010 and she was a graduate of A.C. Reynolds High School.
Tina was a daughter of Claude William Bassett, Sr. of Enka and the late Janice Kay Ramsey Brackett.
Surviving in addition to her father are her companion, Carroll Fender of the home; son, Brian Wilson of Asheville; daughters, Misty Wilson and Shelley Wilson both of Asheville; grandchildren, Seth Wilson, Lexi Mathews, Tevin Blaylock, Eli Mathews and Skylar Hipshire; sister, Pamela Bassett of Georgia; brother, Claude William "Junior" Bassett, Jr. of Enka and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Wednesday, December 3, 2014 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Eugene Worley officiating.
The family will receive friends following services at the funeral home.
