He was born Oct. 26, 1963 in Provo, UT a son of Earl and Ann Harston Bassett. He was a member of the LDS Church. Married Vickie Riddle, later divorced. Dan was a very loving, caring and compassionate son, brother and father. His interests were photography, movies, music, dirt biking, and the outdoors, but above all his love was with his daughter Sean. He enjoyed being a social worker and working with troubled teens. Survived by his parents of Centerville; brother Kirk and Penny, of Idaho; two sisters, Rachel and Brad Burningham, Centerville; Cheryl and Matt Ford, Bountiful; four nephews and four nieces. Funeral services will be Saturday Feb. 12 at 1:00 p.m. in the Centerville Chase Lane Ward, 1125 North 400 West Centerville. Friends may call Saturday from 12 to 12:45 p.m. Interment will be in the Centerville City Cemetery. Directors, Independent Funeral Service.
