Betty J. O?Neal Bass
Betty Bass, age 86, of Cumming, formerly of Blackshear, GA, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2013. Betty was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and was saved in 1963. She taught the young adults in Sunday School. Betty was a graduate of the University of Georgia. She loved to show and ride horses and volunteered for Basic Youth Conflicts.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Bill Bass; son and daughter-in-law, Richard Bass and Melinda Fields; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and John Daniel; sister, Mary Hendricks, grandchildren, Andrew, Katie, Kelly Daniel; nephews, Ledger (Tonda) Davis, Cameron(Linda) Davis; niece, Jeanie Hufford; nephew, Bob Glenn.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 14th at 10:00 am at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ricky Byrd officiating. Interment will follow in Blackshear City Cemetery in Blackshear, GA at 5:30 pm.
The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Sunday from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Monday from 9:00 am until 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Friendship Baptist Church or The American Cancer Society.
