(Voss) Bassett ETHEL J. (VOSS) BASSETT, 89, formerly of Colorado Springs, died April 1, 1996, in Marblehead, Mass. Burial was Friday at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Ave. Eustis and Cornell Funeral Home of Marblehead handled arrangements. Mrs. Bassett is survived by a daughter, Joann B. Heffelman of Marblehead, and two grandchildren, Jeffrey C. Heffelman of South Boston, Va., and Susan M. Heffelman of Amesbury, Mass. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde J. Bassett, a former circulation manager for the Gazette Telegraph. Mrs. Bassett had lived in Colorado Springs most of her life. She was an active bridge player, achieving the rank of life master. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, Mass., 10701.
