  Notes	The Western Gazette, Friday, July 1, 1949 Late Rev. H.H. Tilney Bassett Funeral at Broadstone The funeral took place at Broadstone on Thursday of the Rev. Henry Howard Tilney Bassett, former vicar of Winterborne Whitechurch and Clenstone whose death at the age of 90 was announced last week. The service was conducted by Canon Archer and friends from Broadstone and Whitechurch attended. Relatives present were Miss Frances Mary Tilney Bassett and Mrs. W.H.B. Gipps (daughters), Mrs. Ibbs (sister), and Mr. Greville Tilney Basset (nephew) and Mrs. Tilney Bassett. Reference to the work in the parish of the Rev. Tilney Bassett was made by the Rector of Blandford (Canon B.T. Rosson) when he preached at Winterborn Whitechurch on Sunday, and the Rev. W.H.B.
