She was born on June 7, 1940 the daughter of the late Laudie Bishop and I.S. Bass. She was a retired school teacher. Gail is survived by her daughter, Susan (Brian) Miller of Madison, MS; neice, Sandra Dabbs; nephew, Jim Smiley and two grandchildren, Jacob and Joshua Miller. Along with her parents, Gail was preceded in death by her husband Reuben Dyer. Visitation will be held Sunday, December 29, 2013 from 1:30pm-3:00pm at Strong River Baptist Church in Pinola with services following in the church chapel. Interment will be in the Strong River Cemetery in Pinola. Arrangements were entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
