Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Joyce Bassett; two sons, Ricky and Danny Bassett, both of the home; two daughters, Miss Cindy Bassett of the home and Mrs. Sissy Gibbins of Texas; his mother, Mrs. Allean Province of Paragould; a brother, Louis Bassett of Paragould; three half brothers, Willard and Albert Speaks, both of Cardwell, Mo., and Floyd Speaks of Florida; two sisters, Mrs. Virginia Halcomb of Paragould and Mrs. Bertha Martin of Michigan, and two half-sisters, Mrs. Winnie Boyer of Paragould and Mrs. Willine Bassett of Florida. Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Mitchell Funeral Home. Burial will be at Shiloh Cemetery.
