BASS, John "Warren" September 22, 1926 - August 15, 2002 Mr. Warren Bass passed away suddenly at his home, west of Stony Plain at the age of 75 years. Warren was born in Saskatoon, SK and settled in Alberta with his family in 1964. He loved the outdoors, enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Warren will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his children, Richard Bass of Fort McMurray, AB, John R. (Della) Bass of Duffield, Gerry (Sheila) Bass of Stony Plian, Robert (Cheri) Bass of Spring Lake (Edmonton Beach), AB and Beatta (Andrew) Peterson of Edmonton; the children's mother, Mary Bass of Edmonton; 15 grandchildren, Jennifer, Maygen, Riki-Lyn Bass, John C., Jarrod, Jordan Bass and their mother, Jackie Bass, Sarah, Andrew and Ronald Bass, Rolande, Sierra and Aire Bass and Angela Peterson, step-children, Candice and Alex Harvey. He also leaves to mourn his passing one brother, Allen (Bertha) Bass of Esterhazy, SK; one sister, Barbara (Ron) Kostesky of Rossburn, MB as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many special friends. Warren was predeceased by his parents, John A. and Rachel Bass; his son, Ronald; one brother, James and his sister, Joyce Taylor. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 19 at 11:00 a.m. from Parkland Funeral Chapel, 3502 - 44 Avenue, Stony Plain. Cremation to follow. Memorial tributes may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Parkland Funeral Services of Stony Plain in care of arrangements. 963-2520.
