Death Of Mrs. Bassett
The death occurred at her residence, The Hill, Malahide Co. Dublin, on Sunday last, of Mrs. Bassett, a member of a very old Waterford family. She was a daughter of the late Mr. Colbeck of Tramore, and married the late Mr. George W. Bassett of the firm Bassett and Meridith, wine merchants, Waterford.
The late Mrs. Bassett, how had reached the fine old age of 82 years, is survived by three sons, Messrs. Benjamin Bassett, and Robert and Thomas Bassett, who now live in Canada. Another son, Mr. William Bassett, Mr. William Bassett, died in Russia during the Great War.
The funeral took place on Tuesday from her residence at Malahide, to the Cemetery, John?s Hill, Waterford.
The chief mourners were ? Mr. Benjamin Bassett (son), and Messrs., R. and W. Torrie.
Rev. J.W. B. Moore, Methodist Minister, officiated at the graveside.
The arrangements were in the hands of Mr. John D. Palmer.
