- Sarah Moses Bassett was living at Tintern at the time of her death, aged 99 years.
In 1796 Sarah entered a secured agreement with James Wales. It mentions Edward Bassett, deceased, and that she is involved in preparing an inventory of Edward Bassett's estate for the court at Llandaff by June 1796. PM251_2B refers to her as Edward Bassett's widow.
