In Memory of Lenabell F. (Behn) Bassett

Lenabell F. (Behn) Bassett, 95, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2016, at Columbia Healthcare.
Lena loved life. She was a great dancer and singer and could yodel with the best of them. She was a good mother. She sat on the floor and played paper dolls and jacks and whatever anyone wanted to play. Lena was a member of Cornerstone Assembly of God for many years.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Stanley Bassett. They took many vacations together and loved to square dance.
Lena was the mother of and survived by three daughters, Kay Cundiff, Sue Burdick, and Karen Davis and ten grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at Alexander West Chapel, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Tuesday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
