Deborah Bass Guzman, age 46, of Marion died Monday, July 15, 2002 at her residence. A native of El Paso, Texas, she was a daughter of the late Harry Bass and Gladys Roberts Bass of Marion. She was the Purchasing Agent for Resolution Packaging in Marion and was a member of Bible Baptist Church. Surviving, in addition to her mother, are her husband Raul Guzman of the home; three sons, Brian Guzman of Marion, Brandon Guzman of Boone and Braden Guzman of Marion; two daughters, Carmen and Crissy Guzman, both of the home; one brother, Gary Bass of Marion; two grandchildren, Joshua McPeters and MaKayla Guzman; and two special friends, Briana Suttles and Terrell Hardy, both of Marion. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 17, 2002 in Westmoreland Chapel with Revs. Walker Toney and Steve Durham officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 -0 7:00 p.m. at Westmoreland Funeral Home. Burial will be in McDowell Memorial Park. Flowers are acceptable and appreciated.
