November 6, 2023 Alpharetta, Georgia - Robbie Ken Bass, 87, of Lizella, Georgia passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023. Robbie was born July 28, 1936, in Cadwell, Georgia, the youngest child of the late J.M. and Ruth Johnson Bass. He was a member of Cadwell Baptist Church and graduated from Cadwell High School in 1954. He proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1955 to 1959. After leaving service, he worked at the Warner Robins Air Force Base (WRAFB) for over 30 years until his retirement. He met his wife of 56 years, Faye Sirmons, on their commute to WRAFB, where she also worked. Robbie and Faye were married in April of 1961 and had two daughters and four grandchildren. Robbie was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, and sibling, Linda Nunn (Marion). He is survived by his brother, Gary Bass, daughters, Patricia (Tricia) Taylor (Randy), Jennifer Friske (John) and his grandchildren, Joshua, Rachel and John Taylor and Marshall Friske. Graveside Services and Burial were held on Friday, November 10, 2023, at 1:00 PM, at Cadwell City Cemetery, Cadwell Georgia. Beloved family member, Reverend Steve Sirmons, will officiate. A memorial contribution to the Alzheimer?s Association at alz.org is welcome.
