Virginia Lange
Age 81, died on Sunday, May 18, 2008. Daughter of the late Kirk and Mab
(Healey) Bassett. Survived by their children; Marvin R. Lange of Belleville,
Mary (Tom) Foley of Sumpter Twp., MI and Raymond A. (Janus) Lange of Yo
Twp., TX, four grandchildren; Marvin Lange, Jr., Timothy Floey, Raymond Lange
Jr. and Scott Lange, six great-grandchildren; Mariah, Chloe, Scott Jr., Liam,
Lola and Kennedy. Also, six siblings; James Bassett, Bernice (James) Bachman,
Lois Driver, Leroy (Barbara) Bassett, Dorothy Curtis and Shirley Hamm.
Virginia was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Belleville. She enjoyed
crocheting and listening to Tiger baseball games and often did both from the
farm truck, while watching her boys do the farming. She loved her family and
adored her grandchildren. Virginia drove a school bus for the Romulus school
system and retired after 23 years. Visitation Tuesday 2-8 p.m. at David C.
Brown Funeral Home, Belleville with a Funeral at St. Paul’s Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Belleville at 11 a.m. Wednesday with Pastor James Frey
officiating. Interment at Romulus Cemetery. Donations to St. Paul’s Lutheran
