Howard Bass
Roxboro - Funeral services for Howard Bass, 52, of Route 2, Rougemont, who died Friday at Lincoln Hospital in Durham, were conducted at 2 p.m. today at St. James Baptist Church in Timberlake by the Reverend A.A. Chavis. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Joe Bass, Lorenzo Bass, Nello Bass, T. Howard, Fred Meadows and Edward Thorpe.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Frances Carver Bass; his father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Bass of Roxboro; one sister, Mrs. Martha Lee Cameron of Hurdle Mills; one brother, Clay Bass of Rougemont.
