Minister?s Son Dies In West Virginia
Remains Of Ralph Bass To Be Returned To Ohio
The Rev. J.E. Bass, pastor of the Wesleyan A.M.E. Church at Long in Liberty township, has been called to Parkersburg, West Virginia, by the death of a son, Ralph, 26 years old.
Messages received early Tuesday morning stated that death, which occurred Sunday, was very sudden, but did not reveal any details.
The youth?s remains are to be removed to the Turpen-McKnight funeral home, Greenville, for burial preparations. Arrangements for funeral services will be announced today.
Survivors include the father and mother; one brother, De Soto Bass, of near Greenville, and two sisters, Mrs. Roma Kennedy, of Cutler, Ohio, and Mrs. Marie Stevens, of Waterford, Ohio.
