OAKLAND City, June 3-(Special) ? Marion Bass, 88, died at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Dickey rooming house, where he made his home. Mr. Bass was a former resident of Log Creek community in Pike county and member of Log Creek Primitive Baptist church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Culver, of Oakland City, and Mrs. Forest Anderson, of Flint, Mich.; son Otto Bass, of Princeton; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren, and one brother, Richard Bass, of Oaklan City.
The body is at the Corn and Reed funeral home, where funeral services are pending.
