Notes: Dr. Maurice G. Bassett, retired Cleveland physician, died suddenly in Miami, Fla., last night. He was 59. A native of Cleveland, Dr. Bassett attended Western Reserve University and received his medical education at Ohio State University. Until his retirement he was engaged in general practice here i nthe Commonwealth Building. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Sadie Bassichis, 13817 Cedar Road, Cleveland Heights; a son, Stanley, of Cleveland, and a daughter, Mrs. Barbart Hershey, of Miami; three brothers, Dr. Garry G., Jack and Al, all of Cleveland, and three grandchildren. Funeral services and interment will be today in Miami Beach.
