Watertown ? Allison Bassett, 37, of Watertown, died Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston, MA.
Allison was the daughter of Edward C. Bassett Jr. (Ted) and the late Nancy Arone Bassett of Southborough, MA. She is survived by her brothers: elder Andrew, his wife Elizabeth, and their four children Jack, Abigail, Luke, and Brooks, from Clarendon Hills, IL, and younger Christopher, from Boston.
Born in Southborough, MA, Allison was an avid equestrian, photographer, and soccer player. She attended St. Marks School, then Boston College, where she travelled abroad to London and graduated with a degree in economics.
Allison settled in Watertown post-graduation and formed a supportive community of friends and neighbors whom she loved to entertain.
She began her career at Commonwealth Financial, then spent years as a project manager for Advisor 360 in Weston, where she again cultivated a strong network of friends and colleagues.
"Alli," as she was known to friends and family, adored her niece and nephews and a close second was her beloved dog, Lola.
Alli loved spending time with her family and friends and had a special place in her heart for Scraggy Neck Island on Cape Cod where she spent her summers.
Alli always had a smile and kind words for everyone in her life. She will be missed immensely.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Alli's alma mater Boston College on Friday, June 28, 2024, at 10:00AM at St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish, 28 Commonwealth Ave., Chestnut Hill, MA 02467.
