Rozella Thornhill Bass
Graveside services were held at 11:30 a. m. Tuesday, April 27 at Columbia City Cemetery for Rozella Thornhill Bass, 91, of Poplarville. She died Sunday, April 25, at Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg. Dr. Bob Rogers officiated. Visitation was held from 9:00-10:00 a. m. Tuesday, April 27 at White Funeral Home in Poplarville.
A native of Columbia, Mrs. Bass was member of First Baptist Church of Poplarville, a former member of Parkview Baptist Church in Monroe, La., a volunteer worker with R. S. V. P. and a member of the Gleaners Sunday School Class and X Y Z Senior Adult Fellowship.
Survivors include two daughters, Billie Salter and son-in-law Richard Salter of Monroe, La., and Peggy Daniels of Poplarville; 5 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Steve Daniels, Frank Williams, Tanner Williams, and Don Rawls. White Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
