  Notes	Plattsburgh Press-Republican, Wednesday, September 14, 1955 Edward Bessette Word was received here yesterday of the death, on Monday, of Edward Bessette, a fromer Plattsburgh resident, in Huberteau, P.Q. He was in his late seventies. Mr. Bessette was a native of Plattsburgh, son of the late John and Olive (Tremblay) Bessette. He graduated from Plattsburgh High School and from the courses in civil engineering at the University of Vermont. For many years the Berssette family resided at 148 Cornelia St. Mr. Bessette, who never married, was a civil engineer in Chicago for many years, moving to Huberteau after retirement some time ago. Mr. Bessette is survived by one brother, Napoleon Bessette and one sister, Mrs. Gerald (Celeste) Howe, both of Minneapolis, and another sister, Mrs. Lawrence (Regina) James of San Francisco. A brother, Henry Bessette, died in New York City about three months ago. The body will be brought to Plattsburgh. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
