  Notes	Durham Morning Herald, North Carolina, Tuesday, November 23, 1971 Arch Lewis Bass Sr. Arch Lewis Bass Sr., 67, of 1004 Monmouth Ave., real estate broker and veteran employe of Westinghouse Electric Corp., died Monday about 5:30 p.m. at Watts Hospital. A native of Henderson, he was the son of the lat Dr. Harris H. Bass Sr., and Anna Blanche Hale Bass. He was with Westinghouse Electric Corporation in its X-Ray division for 40 years, and recently had been in the real estate business. He wsa a member of St. Philip?s Episcopal Church. Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Anne Hatdhett; a son, Arch L. Bass Jr. of Durham; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Anne Bass Upchurch, of Reidsville; four grandchildren; his stepmother, Mrs. H.H. Bass Sr. of Henderson; two sisters, Mrs. Alfred Griggs of Durham, and Mrs. G.W. Macon of Richmond; and three brothers, Horace L. Bass of Raleigh, T. Staton Bass of Fayetteville, and Thomas J. Bass of Gastonia. His funeral will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at St. Philip?s Episcopal Church, with burial in Maplewood Cemetery.
