Kathy Bass Turner
Kathy Bass Turner, 64, of Tyner, NC, died Sunday, January 9, 2022 in her home. She was born July 11, 1957 to the late Ronald Earl Bass and Barbara Ann Bazemore and was the widow of Teddy Cole Turner, Sr. Kathy was a homemaker and a member of Whiteville Grove Baptist Church.
Kathy is survived by a daughter, Tina Russell Eley (Presley); a son, Ted Turner, Jr. (Betty); five grandchildren, Rebecca Turner, Kaylin Russell, Blair Russell, Emily Russell and Autumn Heflin; sisters, Rhonda Dail, Angela Lane (Mike), Robin Temple (Aubrey), Barbara Cuellar (Richard) and Donna Byrum (Ricky).
The family would like to thank Amedysis Hospice for their care and attention to Kathy.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Whiteville Grove Church, 373 Perrys Bridge Road, Belvidere, NC officiated by the Rev. Bryant Perry and Rev. E. Lee Penwell.
