He is predeceased by his wife, Susan Pace Bass and a daughter, Carolyn Brackett. He is survived by a son, Bill Bass Jr.; two grandchildren, Justin and Kyle Brackett; and two great-granddaughters. A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, at Cradock Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Don McLean. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
