Maggie Bass
Maggie Bass, 85, passed away Sept. 4, 2013 in Suwannee Valley Care Center, Lake City, Fla.
The Gilchrist County native moved to the Ft. White, Fla. area 17 years ago from Beachville, Fla., she had worked in the plant nursery industry, liked fishing and was a member of Suwannee River Assembly of God, Branford, Fla.
Survivors include, three daughters, Judy Ziegler, Barbara Johnston and Alicia (Kenneth) White all of Ft. White, Fla. four sons, Daniel (Minnie) Douglas, Lavon Tripp, Donald Ray Bass, Leon Earl "Buddy" Bass all of Ft. White, Fla., one sister, Margaret (John) Petty of Chiefland, Fla., three brothers, R J Douglas, of Ft. White, Fla., Dennis Douglas of Bell, Fla., Warren Douglas of Ft. White, Fla., eleven Grand-Children twenty Great Grandchildren and six Great Great Grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were conducted Monday Sept. 9, 2013 at 2 p.m. in Breaking Chains For Christ Worship Center, Branford, Fla. with Pastor Shaun Campbell officiating. Interment followed in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Gilchrist County.
Daniels Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc. of Branford in charge of arrangements.
