  Notes	The Chattanoogan, Wednesday, November 27, 2013 Carol Ann Fairbanks Bassett (Resaca) Carol Ann Fairbanks Bassett, 66 of Resaca, GA, died Tuesday morning, November 26, 2013 at the Gordon Hospital in Calhoun, GA surrounded by her loving family. Carol was born June 21, 1947 in Cape Cod, MA, a daughter of the late Arthur and Georgia Weaver Fairbanks Sr.; and was also preceded in death by her brother, Arthur Fairbanks Jr.; and a sister, Juanita Friedeborn. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the Moultonboro Fire Rescue Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband, David Bassett of the residence; sons and daughter-in-law, Scott Bassett of Tavares, FL, Christopher Bassett and Raymond and Bonnie Bassett all of Moultonboro, NH; a daughter, Kerri Bassett of Resaca; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Janet Cressey of Valdosta, GA; a brother, Charles Fairbanks of Columbus, GA; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, November 30 at Ponders Calhoun Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
