  Notes	Lemuel and Patience Bassett moved to Winchester, Litchfield County, Connecticut in 1775. Lemuel was called "a crippled tailor, from New Haven, first owned seventy-three acres of land, embracing a considerable portion of Winchester center village, which in sold in 1777, and afterwards bought and lived on a small lot near Colonel Ozias Bronson's" in the 1775 Winchester town meeting notes.
