Elizabeth Gallaher & Andrew Bassett (Picture included)
Lee and Deborah Gallaher of Burr Ridge are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter Elizabeth Hilary Gallaher to Andrew Caldwell Bassett, son of Edward and Nancy Bassett of Southborough, MA. The bride is the granddaughter of Eleanor & Hilary Karp, and Beth & Lee Gallaher of Chicago. The wedding took place August, 6, 2011 at Madonna della Strada Chapel at Loyola University Chicago. A reception followed at the Chicago History Museum with dancing to the Stu Hirsh Orchestra.
Elizabeth and Andrew met at Boston College where they received their undergraduate degrees in 2007. The bride attended Benet Academy in Lisle, received her degree in Biology from Boston College and earned a BSN from Loyola University School of Nursing in 2010. Liz is employed as an RN in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Northwestern Hospital in Chicago and will begin pursuing a Masters Degree at Rush University this June to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.
The groom attended St. Mark's School in MA, received his English degree from Boston College, and his Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago in 2010. Andrew is working in Baseball Operations for the Chicago Cubs.
The couple honeymooned at a secluded resort on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia.
They currently reside in Chicago.
