Reuben Bassett, 78, widower, was drowned in a curious manner at his son?s residence at Inglewood today. he apparently went to the top of a tank and leaned through the small circular hole to see how much water there was, when he overbalanced. He was found with his feet protruding from the hole and his head and shoulders under water.
