John Benjamin Bassett
BROWNSVILLE - John Benjamin Bassett, 74, Boeing aircraft inspector, died Saturday at Methodist Haywood Park Hospital. Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Brownsville Funeral Home with burial in Trinity Cemetery at Nutbush. He was a member of Brownsville Baptist Church. Mr. Bassett, the widower of Doris Dean Taylor Bassett, is survived and was cared for by a nephew and niece, Jimmy and Joanne Chapman, and a sister-in-law, Ann Taylor Chapman, all of Brownsville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorials be sent to Jackson Area Hospice, 77 Executive Drive, Jackson, Tennessee 38305.
