Archie Bassett ?Artie? Cray Jr.
CRAY, Archie Bassett Jr. "Artie," 70, of Mechanicsville, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Catherine M. Cray; two sons, Christopher S. Cray (Shelley) of Mechanicsville and Jonathan Will Cray of Salem, Oregon; three grandchildren, Kendall, Jackson and Jeb Cray; sister-in-law, Donna M. Kurtze (Clark); and special nephew, Matthew Rogers (Dee Dee). He was a loving husband, dad, and grandaddy. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, June 26, 2017, at the Mechanicsville Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Rd., where services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2017. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Benedictine Educational Foundation, 12829 River Rd., Richmond, Va. 23238 (please write Basketball Donation in the memo line) and/or the Randolph-Macon Baseball Program, c/o Randolph-Macon College, Office of Advancement, P.O.
