She was born August 20, 1932 in Tylertown, Mississippi to Jerry and Mildred Terrell. She was a life long resident of Pensacola, Florida and a member of Pine Haven Baptist Church, and she owned and operated Bass Florist in the 70's, 80's, and early 90's. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grover Bass; daughter, Deborah Ann; son, Gene Bass; grandson, Casey Bass. She is survived by son, Larry (Donna) Bass; grandsons, Jason Bass and Logan Bass; sisters, Billie Sue Pittman and Kathryn Sanford of Columbus, Mississippi; life long friend and neighbor, Hilda Johnson. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at 1:30pm at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South, 100 Beverly Parkway, Pensacola, Florida 32505. Visitation will be prior to service from 12:30pm to 1:30pm. Burial will follow at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens, Pensacola, Florida.
