Born in Georgetown County, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Javin and Mellie Rebecca (Williams) Goude. She was a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church. Surviving are sons, William H. Bass of Hemingway and Ronnie, Donnie and A. Floyd Bass of Georgetown; daughters, Mrs. Jack (Olga) Woodward and Mrs. Emory (Audrey) Johnson of Georgetown; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 5 p.m. Friday at Rose Hill Baptist Church, Georgetown County, with burial in Old Good Hope United Methodist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Morris Funeral Home in Hemingway.
