Jeanne McGinnis (Picture included)
Jeanne (Sundstrom) McGinnis nee Lybarger 1920-2015. A long-time companion of Herb Lawyer; she was a lifelong resident of Chagrin Falls. Jeanne grew up spending summers at the family home in Lake Lucerne and returned for the 4th of July fireworks for many years including 2014.
She was preceded in death by parents, Dr. Charles W. and Helen Lybarger; and brother, Donel C. Lybarger. Jeanne is survived by daughters, Trudy Murray-Bassett (Richard) of Jupiter, Florida; Bonnie Jerpbak-Hillger (Taren) of Concord; son, Richard Charles Sundstrom (Jackie Bruner) of Big Pine Key, Florida. Grandchildren, Scott Jerpbak (Laura), Christy Jerpbak Theis (Jesse) and Jacob English (Kimberly); great-grandchildren, Dana and Rachel Jerpbak ? all of Chagrin Falls. Stepchildren, Sandee McGinnis Slade of North Carolina and Tom McGinnis of Aurora. She was a graduate of Shaker Heights High School and National Park College in Washington D. C. where she was involved in many reunion get-togethers. She traveled the world extensively in the 60's and 70's. Jeanne managed The Hillbrook Club; hosting and organizing events throughout the 70's and 80's and she proudly volunteered for over 25 years at the Cleveland Sight Center.
A celebration of life will be held at the Stroud-Lawrence Funeral Home in Chagrin Falls in Late July, 2015 (exact date to be announced). Further information will be available on the Stroud-Lawrence website.www.stroudlawrence.com.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Geauga County Humane Society are encouraged.

Trudy Murray-Bassett (Picture included)
Trudy Murray-Bassett passed away February 12, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was home in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, with her loving husband Richard and sister Bonnie. Trudy is survived by Richard and his loving family Bobby, Susie and Matteo, siblings Bonnie and Rick and family and friends in Ohio and Florida. Trudy was a graduate of Orange High School and Christian College. Dogs, Trudy loved them. As a child she dressed them up and put them in her doll carriage. They were her constant companions thru out her life. Trudy lived for many years in the Florida Keys. She was past president of The Pigeon Key Foundation, helping to restore and reuse the "railroad that went to sea" worker housing on Pigeon Key. Trudy was able to pursue her lifelong passion, working with animals, by volunteering at The Dolphin Connection at Hawks Cay on Duck Key. She retired from training marine mammals, a much loved member of the training and care giving team. After moving north to Tequesta, FL, she built a solid real estate career; actively helping clients until the last few months. Trudy spent many hours volunteering for the Maltz Theatre in Jupiter; helping raise funds, organizing cast dinners and whatever else she could add her talents to. She spent whatever spare time she had on her needlepoint projects and loving her family. Her life will be celebrated both in Florida and Ohio at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to the Maltz Theatre in Jupiter, FL, or TrustBridge Hospice of Palm Beach County would be greatly appreciated.
