Donna Elaine Bass, 70, of Fairfield, passed away peacefully with her children at her side in her home on February 8, 2023.
Donna was born on January 10, 1953, to H. Neil and Barbara Bass, and grew up in Fairfield. She graduated from Fairfield High School in 1971, where she was active in theater arts and band. She attended college until she got married and had four children. She was self-employed and enjoyed sales, and at one time had a clothing boutique in Fairfield. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, as well as travel to the beach. She was deeply spiritual, having grown up attending the First United Methodist Church of Fairfield, and took much comfort in her faith.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Melanie Elaine Jackson and husband Brian of Denton, Texas; Joey Musgrave of Fairfield; Sisha Lee Ward and husband Clint of Fairfield; Leslie Ann Bass of Dallas, Texas; as well as six grandsons- Caleb Jackson of Denton, Texas; Benjamin, Levi, and Noah Palacio of Fairfield, and Kaden and Axl Ward of Covington, Texas; and a host of family and friends.
